Today I met up with a junior high school friend whom I haven't seen since we met in Vancouver 5 years ago. Out of my expectation, she called me on Monday night and asked me if I was able to meet up for lunch with her. I said out of my expectation because she moved back to HK years ago and I wouldn't expect her to be in Calgary at this time!
I am super glad that she called me up. Given we have gone different ways after high school, it is hard to keep the friendship. Thankfully, we never forget each other, and we still care for each other. This is what true friendship is - sincere, pure, and doesn't change over time. May God bless her!
